Mac Os X For Unix Geeks Pdf Download
The flavor of unix on Apple computers running Mac OS X is called Darwin, and it is closely related to BSD, from which it has evolved. Unlike Cygwin, a unix emulator that can be grafted onto the Microsoft Windows operating system, Darwin is the fundamental core of the Mac OS X operating system. I'm after using many different unix flavors over the last 20+ years (starting with BSD 2.9 on PDP11, via BSD 4.2/VAX, XENIX, SCO Unix, Consensys, Linux and FreeBSD) now using OS X nearly ten years. IMHO it is the best UNIX what I used anytime - so therefore the answer is subjective.
